Widmung für „Überlebende von Verbrechen“

Nach der Verleihung des Friedensnobelpreises an Navi Pillay am Freitag hat es zahlreiche Würdigungen für das Wirken der südafrikanischen Juristin gegeben. Vom norwegischen Nobelkomitee hieß es, Pillay sei „eine Person von außergewöhnlichem Mut und außergewöhnlicher Integrität“. Pillay selbst widmete die Auszeichnung den „Verteidigern der internationalen Justiz“ und den „Überlebenden internationaler Verbrechen“.
