New Sofia Metro Station Set to Open in 2027
Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev said the Pancho Vladigerov metro station is 90% complete and is expected to begin operating in the summer of 2027.
Terziev inspected the construction work alongside the management of Metropolitan EAD and described the station as an important project for expanding Sofia’s metro network. The facility will connect Metro Lines 1 and 2 and provide a link to the metro depot.
