De 17-jarige Wout Van Laecke heeft vandaag brons gewonnen op de wereld bekermanche degenschermen bij de U20 in Hong Kong. De schermer uit Ertvelde (Evergem) verliest in de halve finale met 15-11 van de Rus Arkadiy Marinenko. Van Laecke is lid van de Gentse Sint-Michielsgilde.
