Minister en stad Maaseik vragen Nederland om te investeren in brug Roosteren: "Nodig voor economische verbinding"
Vlaanderen roept Nederland op om te investeren in de kanaalbrug in Roosteren. Die sluit aan op de nieuwe Maasbrug, die Maaseik in ons land verbindt met het Nederlandse Echt-Susteren. Maar de kanaalbrug in Roosteren lijdt onder metaalmoeheid, en daarom is zwaar vervoer er verboden. Herstelling is daarom nodig, en Nederland zou die moeten betalen.
