Booze bribe case heads to court in Valmiera, Latvia

A case has been referred to the Vidzeme District Court in which the director of a company and another individual are accused of offering a bribe – a bottle of cognac and 1,000 euros – to an official of the Valmiera Municipal Council, and of aiding and abetting the bribery, the prosecutor's office said in a release.
