The protest calls for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar due to alleged electoral roll discrepancies. Despite the police denying permission, organizers are determined to continue, leading to major disruptions in public transport. Comprehensive security measures are being implemented, including various checkpoints and surveillance systems to ensure safety.
